This page explains what information SmartOps Consulting collects through smartopsnc.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Last updated October 8, 2026.
What we collect
- What you send us. When you use our contact form, we receive your name, business name, email address, phone number (if you give one) and your message.
- Basic technical details with a form submission. Our hosting provider records the time, your IP address, browser type and the page you sent it from. We use these to stop spam and abuse.
- Bookings. If you book a call, you do that on HubSpot's scheduling page, which collects the details you enter there.
- Emails and calls. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence so we can reply and follow up.
This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
How we use it
- To reply to your inquiry, schedule calls and prepare quotes.
- To provide and manage the services you hire us for.
- To keep basic business records and protect the site from spam.
We do not sell your information or share it for other companies' advertising. We will not add you to a marketing email list without your permission.
Who helps us handle it
We use a small number of service providers, who process information on our behalf:
- Netlify hosts this website and stores contact form submissions.
- Google and Microsoft provide the email accounts where we receive and answer inquiries.
- HubSpot is our customer records system and runs our booking page.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries and client records for as long as we need them to respond, provide services and meet our business and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or tell us to stop contacting you. Email tash@smartopsnc.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Security
This site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to inquiries is limited to the people who need it to serve you. No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords, payment card numbers or other sensitive information through the contact form.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
